’Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’: ‘Broken Promises’ Review

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. 409 Winter Premiere#3 – AIDA’s First Day As Evil

I will admit that I haven’t been that much into the AIDA storyline since the beginning of the season, even the reveal in the winter finale that the Darkhold had corrupted her didn’t change much of that for me. However, I did enjoy this more than I thought I would. The creepy opening with her changing her clothes and playing classic music for a drugged-down May was uncomfortable to watch. The part where Mack just walks in like nobody’s business and axes her head off had me laughing for what felt like an eternity. It feels like something you would see on a Whedon show where a scene seems extremely intense and hard until one second later someone just walks in and cuts it off. However, the LMD mess is only just beginning which we will talk more about in this review later.
