’Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’: ‘World’s End’ Review

Agents of Shield Aida Plan#4 – The Fall Of Aida

Despite my issues with the development of Aida last week, I was surprisingly OK with how she was handled in the season finale. After all the mind games and torture that she has put our heroes  through, it was great to see Coulson and the team finally be one step ahead of her. The big scene where we discover that Aida actually killed an LMD version of Simmons was brilliant, because you simply don’t outsmart FitzSimmons, period. When Ghost Rider showed up and had that zap-fight with her, it was like following panels in a great comic book before we saw her be burned to death by Ghost Rider. Although, I wish the fight had gone on for a bit longer, but I will digress. Mallory Jansen has been one of the major reasons why Season 4 was so good, with everything that she did as Aida/Madame Hydra and will always be remembered as one of the show’s best villains.

I think you need to rewatch that Aida/Ghost Rider fight at the end. Coulson was possessed by the Rider with permission. Robbie was with Daisy helping Yo Yo and Mack.

It was indeed a perfect ending; and as a whole, a perfect season. It really left me wishing there were a couple more episodes.
