New Captain America Anthony Mackie “blamed” Tom Holland while responding to the news of almost appearing in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Earlier this week, Spider-Man: Far From Home creative executive Eric Carroll revealed that Anthony Mackie almost made his debut as Captain America in the movie. Shortly after the reveal, Anthony Mackie got wind of the news and decided to respond on Twitter. Anthony Mackie is set to reprise his role as Sam Wilson in the upcoming Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney+ series. He will be joined by Sebastian Stan, Daniel Bruhl, and Emily Van Camp. The series was written by Malcolm Spellman and all six episodes will be directed by Kari Skogland.
