The winter premiere of Arrow Season 5 featured the debut of another big Batman character as we got introduced to Lexa Doig’s Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul, in the flashbacks as she is guiding Oliver Queen in Russia. However fans have been wondering whether or not we would ever get to see her in present time as we have yet to see her in Star City.
In the latest edition of Natalie Abrams’ Spoiler Room at Entertainment Weekly, a fan asked the big question about Talia and it appears that she is indeed coming to the present time. Executive producer and show-runner Marc Guggenheim revealed that Talia will show up in the present with the show also addressing the fact that Oliver has never said once to the team that he knew Ra’s older daughter because…he didn’t know it was Ra’s daughter.
“We will see her in the present day. What she wants from Oliver in the past is very different from what she wants from him in the present. Oliver couldn’t have heard it, because if he had, when Ra’s talked about his daughter he’d be like, ‘Yeah, the other daughter, I met her back in Russia. We were very cognizant not to retcon anything. So yes, she is Talia al Ghul, but Oliver obviously doesn’t know that.”
“Checkmate” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)
OLIVER SEEKS THE TRUTH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) gets closer to the truth about Prometheus. Meanwhile, Helix refuses to continue helping Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) until she does a favor for them. Ken Shane directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Sarah Tarkoff (#516). Original airdate 3/15/2017.”
Arrow airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW. Make sure to check back at Heroic Hollywood after every single episode of Season 5 for our weekly reviews.

10 Defining Quotes From The DC Extended Universe
Earlier this week, we here at Heroic Hollywood gave the 20 defining quotes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not to be outdone, we also wanted to take a look at the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and some of the best dialogue/monologues within their films that have so far helped shape their cinematic universe.
Now keep in mind, the DCEU is still in its sophomoric phase. There are only three films in the can — Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad — so we’re going to try our best and refrain from the usual “Marvel vs DC” trope. The films in the DC Extended Universe have their share of highlights and great moments that do a great job at bringing some of our all-time favorite comic book characters to the big screen (and even introducing us to new ones). This list will be strictly for the DCEU, and not feature unconnected films or DC TV shows (Sorry animated movies, Nolan-verse, Arrow-verse and Gotham, maybe we’ll take a look at those as well).
Here are a few of the top DC Extended Universe quotes. Click Next to see…
