‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Set Photos Hinting At New Villain

Avengers: Infinity WarAfter almost three phases of Marvel movies, the Avengers will finally face the villainous Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, with Josh Brolin portraying the iconic villain. While Thanos will serve as the big baddie in the third Avengers installment, it appears that he isn’t the only villain in the upcoming film.

Just Jared shared new set photos today featuring Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange a.k.a. Doctor Strange all bruised up and it might be thanks to the man in the CGI suit. It’s not clear who the actor is and what kind of character he is playing, but based on the photos, he is definitely playing someone that will cause some trouble for the Sorcerer Supreme.

Could it be a new alien race that Thanos will team up with to take down the Avengers? Is there a chance that the actor in the CGI suit is playing a secondary villain? Only time will tell.

Anthony and Joe Russo’s Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, starring Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Cobie Smulders, Benicio Del Toro, Benedict Wong, Danai Gurira, and Josh Brolin, is slated to open in theaters on Friday, May 4, 2018.

7 Big Potential Changes For The Marvel Cinematic Universe After ‘Avengers 4’

Previous1 of 8

Marvel AvengersMarvel Studios President Kevin Feige has officially said he’s holding back on reveals about the Marvel Cinematic Universe until after Avengers 4. With Feige holding information close to the chest, it seems likely big changes are set to hit the MCU soon.

Now that the MCU is more than fifteen films strong, I expect new characters and dramatic team shakeups soon so fans stay invested. There are a lot of things I wish could happen to the MCU, but I’m only talking about things I consider a real possibility here. Yeah, I’d love for the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to join the MCU, but I don’t expect that anytime soon. At the moment, Captain America and Wolverine will never hit the trenches together, but just know that would be number 1 on my list if Fox and Disney had a better relationship.

Hit Next to learn about some of the changes I think are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the near future!

That certain villain in the picture im thinkng it would be Corvus Glaive or one of the other from the Black Order http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Order_(Earth-616)

The back of his CGI suit says EB-Maw.

Going to go ahead and confirm that’s Ebony Maw that looks like he’s using his hand to pull that Time Stone out of Strange’s chest. Or at least he’s attempting to.
