‘Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm’ HD Remaster Coming To Blu-Ray Next Month

Batman PhantasmWarner Bros. has announced Batman: Mask of the Phantasm will be released on Blu-Ray next month.

The Blu-Ray will include a 1080p high-definition remaster of the classic animated film which will be presented in both the original theatrical 16×9 aspect ratio (1.78:1) as well as open matte 4×3 (1.37:1) aspect ratio.

In addition to the announcement of the remastered home release, the studio has also revealed the box art for the new Blu-Ray. You can check it out below.

The film features the voice cast of Kevin Conroy, Dana Delany, Hart Bochner, Stacy Keach, Abe Vigoda, Dick Miller, John P. Ryan, Efram Zimbalist, Robert Costanzo, Arleen Sorkin, and Mark Hamill. Here’s the official synopsis:

When the city’s most feared gangsters are systematically eliminated, the Caped Crusader is blamed. But prowling the Gotham night is a shadowy new villain, the Phantasm, a sinister figure with some link to Batman’s past. Can the Dark Knight elude the police, capture the Phantasm and clear his own name?

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm will be available on Blu-Ray sometime in July of 2017.
