5 Best Moments In ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

5. Peter Saves Adrian Toomes

Vulture Spider-Man Homecoming Moments

The ending of the film is a thrilling event. Not long after the building is toppled on Peter he follows Stark’s plane to stop Adrian Toomes from stealing the weapons and alien tech that Tony is shipping out of Stark Tower. The plane ends up crashing in the preceding battle. While Toomes and Peter fight on the beach that they land on, Peter notices that the Vulture’s wings are about to explode. Peter jumps in to save his life and leaves Vulture for the police with a handwritten note.

It’s such a great moment because that is a very Spider-Man thing to do. A lot of the MCU films have the villains die. They are either killed by the hero or by accident, but the decision to leave the Vulture alive was a great thing. It shows the integrity of character that Peter has. Even if he’s evil, he didn’t want him to die and that is very inspiring. It certainly stood out to me as a moment worth mentioning.
