Entertainment Weekly has revealed a new featurette for the long-awaited Blade Runner sequel, Blade Runner 2049.
The sequel to Ridley Scott’s classic starring Harrison Ford picks up thirty years after the events of the first film following the new Blade Runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) after he discovers a terrible secret that could send what is left of society into chaos prompting him to go on a search for Rick Deckard (Ford) who has been missing since we saw him escape with the replicant Rachel (Sean Young).
The new featurette takes us inside the return to the world Scott created 35 years ago as it reveals lots of new footage and clues us into the plot some. Ford and other stars including Gosling, Jared Leto, and director Denis Villeneuve discuss their love and respect for the film that revolutionized science fiction in cinema as we see K confront Deckard and what looks to be Deckard in a transport on his way back to Los Angeles, plus a clue to what kind of character Dave Bautista is playing.
