CTV Picks Up Marvel’s ‘The Inhumans’ & ‘The Gifted’

Inhumans GiftedThe 2017-2018 TV season is getting invaded with more mutants and Inhumans this fall with FOX’s The Gifted as well as ABC’s The Inhumans. For Canadian viewers, the two Marvel shows will be available on CTV One as CTV announced recently that the network has acquired both shows for their fall schedule.

Both The Gifted and The Inhumans will be airing at the same time slots as they have been given on FOX and ABC respectively. Here is the CTV One’s fall schedule which also includes a couple of DC TV shows.

While not related to The Gifted or The Inhumans, fans of the DC Comics drama Gotham will notice that the Batman prequel will be airing at a slightly different time than the time slot that Gotham has on FOX. Instead of 8 PM, CTV One is airing Gotham at 9 PM. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air on Tuesday nights at 9 PM, but on CTV Two, along with Arrow that will keep the Wednesday time slot, but air at 9 PM instead of 8 PM.

FOX’s The Gifted and ABC’s The Inhumans will premiere sometime this fall, with premiere dates to be announced later.

Comic Book TVThe current TV season is pretty much done as several comic book and superhero TV shows have concluded their respective seasons. All the comic book shows that aired this year will be back for the new TV season with The CW’s The Flash, Supergirl, Riverdale, iZombie, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, with ABC bringing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. back for another season and FOX giving Gotham and Lucifer another go.

The 2017-2018 television season is going to be one of the biggest seasons of all time for comic book adaptations for both DC and Marvel.
