DCTV & ‘Riverdale’ Featured On TV Guide Magazine SDCC Covers

Warner Bros. TV SDCC CoversSan Diego Comic-Con is just a week away and Warner Bros. TV is bringing tons of shows to this year’s convention, including new and old DCTV favorites as well as Riverdale. Cress Williams (Jefferson Pierce, Black Lightning), Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge, Riverdale), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester, Supernatural) and Melissa Benoist (Kara Zor-El, Supergirl) revealed today on their Twitter pages the respective covers for their shows.

All of these shows will have their respective panels starting next weekend, with all the DCTV shows (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, Krypton, Black Lightning) and Riverdale on Saturday. Supernatural will have their annual Hall H panel on Sunday morning.

The TV Guide Magazine covers will be available for pick-up at the Warner Bros. TV booth at #4545 starting on Preview Night next week. If you can’t attend this year’s Comic-Con, you will be able to purchase them starting on July 18.

The CW’s returning DCTV shows along with Riverdale and Supernatural will be back this fall with new seasons on The CW, while Black Lightning is set to debut in sometime in early 2018.

All the comic book shows that aired this year will be back for the new TV season with The CW’s The Flash, Supergirl, Riverdale, iZombie, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, with ABC bringing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. back for another season and FOX giving Gotham and Lucifer another go.

FX is also bringing back their new comic book TV hit series with Legion while AMC is bringing back The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead for new seasons, along with their new Vertigo hit Preacher. While the comic book TV landscape is already epic in scope, it’s only going to get bigger next year. The 2017-2018 television season is going to be one of the biggest seasons of all time for comic book adaptations for both DC and Marvel.
