‘Doctor Strange’ Adds Benjamin Bratt

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con was a great one for Marvel fans. Not only did we find out a ton of cool details about Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and a few other highly anticipated Phase 3 movies, but we also saw a brand new trailer for Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange, as well as a new poster for the upcoming movie. However, there was something hidden within that poster that no one noticed up until now.

While there hasn’t been an official announcement by the studio, it looks like Benjamin Bratt has joined the cast of Doctor Strange. The folks over at MCU Exchange spotted his name on the latest poster for the movie, which was released during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Unfortunately, we don’t have any details about his role in the movie, but we’re probably going to find out who he’s playing in the coming months.

Bratt is best known for his work on Law & Order, where he played NYPD Detective Rey Curtis. The actor has also appeared in a bunch of movies such as Miss Congeniality, Demolition Man and most recently, The Infiltrator, but you probably remember him from the basketball scene in Catwoman. He’s been doing a lot of voice over work lately, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s playing a CG character in Doctor Strange.

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, Benedict Wong, Amy Landecker and Scott Adkins, Doctor Strange opens in theaters on November 4, 2016. Are you guys excited?
