‘Dunkirk’ Total Film Cover Showcases Survival Amidst War

DunkirkDunkirk, Christopher Nolan’s newest film hits theaters next month – and the trailers and TV spots have shown that Nolan is really expanding his craft after working on ambitious projects such as The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Interstellar.

Seeing Nolan tackle World War II is really intriguing, and the cast assembled for this new project is exciting. Although the film is using the backdrop of WWII, Nolan has gone on record to emphasize that Dunkirk is more of a survival film rather than a war film.

Dunkirk is prominently featured on the cover of the next issue of Total Film magazine. In the cover, we see Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy and Kenneth Branagh. All three of them are depicted on the beach. You can see the cover down below.
