A New ‘Dunkirk’ TV Spot Gives Us Tom Hardy In Flight

Dunkirk TV Spot

Warner Bros. has released a new TV spot for Dunkirk featuring Tom Hardy in the pilot’s seat. The spot is only fifteen seconds long, but it teases some of the action that we’re in for. Flying overhead, there is a fight going on in the air between two planes, bullets flying, plane crashes, and the final word, “breathe,” appearing onscreen before the video ends.

You can watch the TV spot below.

Dunkirk has already been confirmed to be the shortest Christopher Nolan film in the history of the director’s career. At an hour and forty seven minutes long, it doesn’t even hit two hours when the rest of his films are at least tw hours and twenty minutes. Perhaps this is a good thing though since Dunkirk will largely take place in one location and the potentially going on for too long could be a problem.

Check out the movie’s synopsis below.

Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, the film stars Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Aneurin Barnard, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan and Harry Styles.

Dunkirk will be released in theaters on July 21,2017 and will be presented in digital projection, 35MM, 70MM, IMAX digital and IMAX 70MM.
