‘Blade Runner 2049’: Empire Unveils Colorful New Cover

Empire Magazine has revealed their subscriber exclusive Blade Runner 2049 cover art featuring Ryan Gosling as Officer K.

The new limited edition cover features artwork by the twin brother design team Van Orton. The latest edition will offer readers coverage on the highly anticipated Blade Runner 2049. Subscribers will receive the exclusive edition in the coming days and the newsstand edition will be available beginning July 13.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for thirty years.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, Jared Leto and Barkhad Abdi. The film will be released in theaters on October 6th, 2017.
