Fan 3D Prints Kryptonite Spear From ‘Batman V. Superman’

Batman V. Superman Kryptonite Spear
In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman decides that Superman has gone rogue and needs to be destroyed after the hero is framed for a bombing in the capitol, so he forges a weapon out of the only thing that can kill the hero – Kryptonite. Now, a fan has gone the extra mile and has figured out how to 3D Print the Kryptonite Spear into a prop (radioactive fragment of a distant, long-destroyed planet not included).

YouTube user Chaos Core Tech regularly creates digital models of various objects, 3D prints them, and has them painted. The man behind the channel has just released a video showing off how he recreated the Kyrptonite Spear before going into the bells an whistles he added to the prop:

Fans certainly can do quite a lot when they put their minds toward something. One almost has to wonder if someone won’t go the extra mile one day and forge a synthetic chemical compound that gets dubbed “Kryptonite”.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is available on home video now. The film is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill as Kal-El/Clark Kent (Superman), Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Addams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Lawrence Fishburne as Perry White, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.
