‘The Flash’: ‘Infantino Street’ Review

Flash#3 – The Moment At Infantino Street

Leading up to this moment, there was so much going on and the show brought the intensity level to a whole new level. It didn’t help that H.R. had to be the one to screw everything by blurring out to Savitar-Barry where Iris was. Even though the scene with him and Cisco where H.R. expresses his disappointment in himself was compelling, it didn’t do much for me in terms of feeling sorry for H.R. The show has continued to go back and forth with his development as he is helpful in one episode, but a complete mess in other episodes.

The scene at the Infantino Street was perhaps the most emotionally charged scene that the show has ever delivered. As their Speed Force Bazooka fails, we know what is coming as the score suddenly cuts to whatever song was playing while Barry tried to save Iris. We also get to see this heartbreaking video message that she left for him that brought out all the water work as the shot cuts back to Barry holding her body in his arms.

However…did she actually die?
