‘The Flash’: Actor Behind Mysterious New Villain Revealed

Grant Gustin The Flash

The actor behind the mysterious new villain with white hair has been revealed as David Dastmalchian (Ant-Man, Gotham). Last week we caught a glimpse of the mysterious villain when a batch of set photos hit the web, however, we were unable to identify whether or not the person in the photo was the actor playing the role or a stuntman as the scene being filmed featured the unidentified villain going up against Flash, Kid Flash, and Vibe in battle.

The character himself still remains a mystery but thanks to new photos shared by Snowbarry Source, we now have a clear look at Dastmalchian in the role. The new photos also seem to suggest the set photos we saw of the scene being last week did indeed feature a stunt performer.

Dasmaltchian posted a photo to Instagram of him having his hair bleached for the role just two weeks ago. In the photo, Dastlmachian is taking a break from reading “The Flash: Rebirth” #15 with the variant cover featuring the Weather Wizard. This particular two-part issue told the story of an elaborate jewel heist in Corto Maltese by the Weather Wizard, Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Heat Wave, Golden Glider, and the Trickster. Being that the photos see Dastmalchian pursued by Gypsy, it’s possible Dastmalchian could be the Weather Wizard from an alternate Earth.
