While Disney XD did conclude Ultimate Spider-Man back in January, the channel won’t be Spidey-less for that much longer as Marvel’s Spider-Man is set to arrive in the summer. The new series will be focusing on a 15-year old Peter Parker as he discovers his powers and becomes the iconic web-slinger.
While a trailer has yet to be released from Disney XD, TV Guide has an exclusive clip from the series premiere where Peter in his Proto-Spidey suit, is fighting off one of his iconic baddies, Scorpion. The suit does resemble the proto-suit that Tom Holland will be seen wearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming which opens in theaters next month.
The latest Spider-Man cartoon is set to feature Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy a.k.a. Spider-Gwen alongside Peter Parker. No voice actors have been announced yet for the show, but with the premiere coming up this summer, news should be rolling out soon. TV Guide also released a new poster for the series which you can see below.
“The series tells the story of an unsure but courageous teen who has to figure out how to be a super hero from the very beginning. “
