‘Gotham’ Taps Raymond J. Barry In Recurring Role

Gotham Raymond J Barry FOXGotham is returning in less than a week as the first DC TV show back from the winter hiatus to continue its third season. Today it was announced that Justified and The 100 actor Raymond J. Barry has been cast in a recurring role for the Batman prequel series on FOX. Here’s how Warner Bros. TV and FOX describes his character that will be deeply connected with Bruce Wayne.

“Barry will play the temple Shaman, a mysterious figure who enters Bruce’s (Mazouz) life with the stated intention of unlocking the potential of his own mind. While the Shaman says the fate of Gotham depends upon Bruce becoming the man the city needs him to become, the truth behind his intentions proves to be far more sinister.”

The casting didn’t say when we can expect to see him, but it’s most likely that he will be making his debut later in the spring as Gotham will be going on a hiatus after January 30. Check out a new trailer for the mid-season premiere along with the official description for the episode.
