David Hasselhoff managed to make not only a surprise cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, but he also composed a song for it as well – Guardians Inferno. Now that song will be getting an official music video – directed by James Gunn himself – for the movie’s Blu-Ray release.
Hasselhoff was discussed in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 as a model for the kind of dad that Peter “Star-Lord” Quill wished that he’d had growing up, and the actor made a surprise appearance as a form of Ego the Living Planet when he was regenerating. But beyond his thematic importance to the movie’s plot and his unexpected cameo, The ‘Hoff also performed a new song over the credits called “Guardians Inferno” – and the movie’s director has just announced that it’ll be getting a music video with the home video release:

Knowing Gunn’s sense of humor, expect an abundance of faux-retro vibes from the music video and plenty of Hasselhoff hijinks.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 is playing in theaters right now. The film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, and Kurt Russell as Ego. Many of these same characters are set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War, its sequel, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.
‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2’ Easter Eggs & Other References
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 has been out here in the states for a week. It’s no surprise that it was the number one movie this past weekend as fans were more than excited for the return of Star-Lord and the gang as they once again saved the galaxy. The film was flawed but fun, and had a great deal of heart as the concept of family was greatly explored throughout the film. Not only did it focus on Star-Lord as he learned who his real father was, but also his adoptive family the Guardians as they go through the normal pains and growths that any family goes through. Each member of the Guardians (and some new members) had great character arcs and overall, the film was incredibly entertaining.
This being a Marvel film, of course, it was loaded with Easter Eggs. Because this is a shared cinematic universe, almost every film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) references Marvel comics as well as other films within the same universe. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is no different as the film had a plethora of Easter Eggs related to Marvel comics, the MCU, and other things as well. Of course: Spoilers from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. Let’s take a look at a few of them. Click Next to continue….
