Superman himself Henry Cavill took to Instagram to share the new 'Justice League' trailer and dropped a little hint about his character along with it.

Yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con, fans were treated to an extended look at the upcoming Justice League movie. However one key character was conspicuously absent: Superman. The man behind the Man of Steel, Henry Cavill, took to Instagram to share the trailer. As well as sharing his excitement for the film, he also dropped a little hint along with it in the caption. Check out his post below:

Jason Momoa (Aquaman) then commented on the post with “Missed you today brother.” to which Henry Cavill replied “missed you guys too! You guys should do something about that ;)”

Fans will remember that Superman seemingly died in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  However this tease seems to point towards Superman having some sort of role in the upcoming film. How much of a role and how he would get there still remains to be seen.

In the meantime, here is the synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will be released on November 17, 2017. The superhero epic features a cast that includes Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Henry Cavill as Kal-El/Clark Kent (Superman), Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa as Orin/Arthur Curry (Aquaman), Ezra Miller as Barry Allen (The Flash), Ray Fisher as Victor Stone (Cyborg), Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, J. K. Simmons as Commissioner James ‘Jim’ Gordon, Joe Morton as Dr. Silas Stone, Amber Heard as Mera, Billy Crudup as Dr. Henry Allen, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.
