‘The Inhumans’: Henry Ian Cusick Talks Working With Lockjaw

InhumansOne of the craziest (but in a good way) aspects of the Inhumans is without doubt the character of Lockjaw, a 2,000 lb canine who has the ability to teleport. He is Crystal’s (Isabelle Cornish) personal companion and will be seen on the upcoming television series, The Inhumans alongside Crystal.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Henry Ian Cusick (The 100) who will be playing Dr. Evan Declan, chatted about the process of working with a CGI character like Lockjaw. The actor expressed having a hard time at first getting his around the concept of this character.

“You know the comics, right, where they have the dog? That in itself…I found it really hard to get my head around that to begin with. I was like, ‘What? A dog that teleports?’ So that in itself is going to require a lot of special effects, I guess. I think there’s going to be quite a lot of CGI. You know we had a CGI guy on set pretty much the whole time.”

“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

Marvel’s The Inhumans, starring Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Smallville) as Medusa, Iwan Rhoen (Game of Thrones) as Maximus the Mad, Ken Leung (LOST) as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor (Concussion) as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish (Australia Day) as Crystal, Mike Moh (Empire) as Triton, Sonya Balmores (Beyond the Break) as Auran, and Ellen Woglom (Californication), is set to premiere on Friday nights at 9/8c on ABC.

Marvel InhumansMarvel’s The Inhumans is set to hit television screens this Fall on ABC but not before premiering in IMAX theaters. The series will be the first television series to premiere in theaters before coming to television.

The Inhumans have a rich history within Marvel Comics and have a long list of stories to delve into and have already made their television debut on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The new television show will focus on the Royal Family of the Inhumans. Years ago, the alien race of the Kree came to Earth and experimented on humans, attempting to create powerful soldiers to help in their war against their intergalactic enemies, the Skrulls. The result of their experiments was a creation of the Inhuman kind, created through Terragenesis (aka inhaling some gas).

The Royal Family otherwise known as the House of Agon rule over all Inhuman kind in the land of Attilan but who are the members of the royal Family? Here’s an introduction to the members to the Inhuman royalty. Click Next to begin!
