‘Injustice 2’ Official Gameplay Launch Trailer Released

After months of anticipation, Injustice 2 has finally been released and fans are eager to play as several of their favorite DC Comics characters. To celebrate the occasion, DC Entertainment released the official gameplay launch trailer for the highly anticipated game ahead of its debut today.

Focused on the threat posed by Brainiac, the trailer includes footage featuring DC Comics characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Doctor Fate, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Gorilla Grodd.

Injustice 2 is the super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us that allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Featuring a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, players can personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. Additionally, for the first time, gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.

Injustice 2 is now available for both the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system as well as Xbox One.

DC created a home-run franchise when they released the first Injustice game. After a successful game and two popular tie-in comic series, Injustice 2 finally comes out on May 16th. With all eyes searching for Easter eggs and hints about the new game, it’s a good time to talk about future games. Let’s face it, this is too popular of a franchise for DC to let die. There have been over ten Mortal Kombat games, so strap in and get ready for an unjust future.

Superman was a great antagonist for the first game and I’m excited for Brainiac to finally get a moment in the spotlight in Injustice 2, but DC’s going to have to think bigger for future sequels.
