Katrina Law On Potential Nyssa/Talia Al Ghul Reunion On ‘Arrow’

Arrow Nyssa Talia Al Ghul ReunionSince the show began, Arrow has always been known for borrowing from the Batman mythology, including the Al Ghul characters. It started with the introduction of one of Ra’s Al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) daughters, Nyssa (Katrina Law) who made her debut in the second season as the League of Assassins member that saved Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) and helped her become the weapon she is today.

The two women also shared a romantic relationship and Nyssa made a few more appearances in the third and fourth season. Season 3 had Ra’s as the big bad for that year and this season on the Green Arrow series, we will be introduced to Talia, who will be portrayed by Lexa Doig in the mid-season premiere which airs in a few weeks. However, we have never seen the two half-sisters on-screen together.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Law was asked about whether we may see Nyssa and Talia together one day for an episode or two. While there have been discussions here and there, the actress would love to see the two of them interact down the line.

“There’s always talk. Whether or not those talks will ever come to fruition is another matter, but I would love to have a reunion with Talia. I just think having the two sisters either fight side by side together or fight with each other would be epic either way. And then if we could somehow do some sort of flashback with Ra’s al Ghul coming in as well… Let’s petition to make that happen.”

Law is currently occupied with her new television series, Training Day, which premieres next month on CBS. According to the actress, it seems like the shooting schedule was quite challenging for the first season, which might make it difficult for Law to fly down to Vancouver, Canada where Arrow is filming. However, anything is possible.

“We shall see. I don’t know. It was a pretty brutal shooting schedule in the first season, so I’m probably going to have to lean towards ‘no,’ but I’m always hopeful and optimistic.”

Arrow Season 5 returns with new episodes on Wednesday, January 25 at 8/7c on The CW. Make sure to check back at Heroic Hollywood after every single episode of Season 5 for our weekly reviews.

Training Day is set to premiere on Thursday, February 2 at 10/9c on CBS.
