‘Luke Cage’: Episode 12 Title Revealed

I am numb with excitement for Marvel’s Luke Cage. When it comes to their Netflix series, Marvel has hit it out of the park both times with the first two seasons of Daredevil as well as the first season of Jessica Jones. These shows explore the smaller side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in which it still involves characters with special abilities, but also explores the everyday lives of these people as normal human beings at their core, and Luke Cage looks to continue that mantra.

Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker has been sharing the episode titles for the first season via his Twitter account. Now, he has revealed to fans what the 12th episode title is: Soliloquy of Chaos. Of course, this is named after the song by Gang Starr.

I am so excited to see how the show implements the themes of Gang Starr’s music within the narrative. I cannot wait to finally sit down and just binge all 13 episodes of the upcoming series. If you haven’t caught up with Jessica Jones, please do so before the show’s premiere. Mike Colter’s mere presence on screen is almost unmatched in this entire MCU. And yes, that includes the films.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, begins the official blurb, “Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.”

All episodes of Luke Cage will be available to stream on Netflix on September 30.
