Marvel Spotlights Thanos Statue At D23

Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Avengers 3 Avengers 4 Marvel D23Disney has unveiled the Marvel corner of the D23 Expo show floor revealing an incredible statue of the Mad Titan Thanos.

Thanks to Stich Kingdom we’ve got our first look at the new Thanos statue along with displays of the costumes of both Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther, as well as something mysterious which has yet to be revealed.

The Ragnarok costumes on display showcase both the costumes worn by Thor, Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Jeff Goldblum’s The Grandmaster while the Black Panther display spotlights the costumes worn by King T’Challa’s bodyguards, aka, the Dora Milaje in the film, along with the costumes worn by Forest Whitaker’s elder statesmen Zuri, the Black Panther suit itself and a new banner for the film

In addition, we also get a look a detailed model of the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout attraction which opened earlier this year at Disney’s California Adventure park. You can check out all of the images shared online below.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular character, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge and Sam Neill in an undisclosed role. The film hits theaters on November 3rd.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Andy Serkis and John Kan. The film hits theaters on February 16, 2018.

Avengers: Infinity War is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo with a script from Captain America: Winter Soldier writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin. The film hits theaters May 4, 2018
