7 Big Potential Changes For The Marvel Cinematic Universe After ‘Avengers 4’

Previous1 of 8

Marvel AvengersMarvel Studios President Kevin Feige has officially said he’s holding back on reveals about the Marvel Cinematic Universe until after Avengers 4. With Feige holding information close to the chest, it seems likely big changes are set to hit the MCU soon.

Now that the MCU is more than fifteen films strong, I expect new characters and dramatic team shakeups soon so fans stay invested. There are a lot of things I wish could happen to the MCU, but I’m only talking about things I consider a real possibility here. Yeah, I’d love for the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to join the MCU, but I don’t expect that anytime soon. At the moment, Captain America and Wolverine will never hit the trenches together, but just know that would be number 1 on my list if Fox and Disney had a better relationship.

Hit Next to learn about some of the changes I think are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the near future!

I love Batman, movies and Tyrion Lannister. Check me out on Youtube!

Meh, I see Black Panther or Dr. Strange leading the avengers post Tony and Cap rather than Quill

Kang is stuck at Twentieth Century Fox, where he will either be never used or completely wasted.

I’m going to respond by each slide:
1- A new Nick Fury is fine. Samuel L. Jackson turns 70 later this year, and that’s not such a good age for playing a spy. Maria Hill seems like the logical choice to follow him.
6- Kang the Conqueror- I would love to see Kang go up against the Avengers, but he’s the property of Fox as part of Fantastic Four.
5- Secret Avengers- I think we’ve seen the MCU building toward this.
4- Combining Movies and TV Heroes- One of the biggest complaints thus far is the lack of connection (other than an occasional mention) between the Movie and TV Heroes. I would love to see Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) included, as his performance is among the best villains in the MCU. However, so long as Ike runs the TV side, we won’t see any coordination. On the flip side, Ike is 74, and can’t run Marvel Entertainment forever. Once he’s out of Marvel, I fully expect Marvel to combined as many of their products as possible.
3- Black Widow’s death. An obvious choice, but the obvious choice is seldom the one that comes true. I more significant death would be one that involves a true superhero that none of us sees coming. It would also enhances Thanos’ stature.
    2. Spider-Man- If we are to believe that Spider-Man is only connect to the MCU through 3 movies, then this won’t happen. I believe Sony has in mind to establish a Spider-Man in the MCU, but then develop their own Spider-Man Universe with their remaining characters, Venom and so forth. With Sony planning a Venom and Sliver and Black movies, they are trying to build a Spider-Man universe that seems (distantly) connected to the MCU. I suspect that a successful Venom movie will spell the end of Sony’s commitment to Spider-Man in the MCU.
1- Star-Lord on Earth- I don’t think this is in consideration. He’s the Terran leader in the Marvel Cinematic Cosmic Universe. Besides, Earth has many more heroes to uncover.

Yeah, I agree. Once Ike gets kicked out of Marvel or dies, All of Marvel will be directly under the Disney banner just like Marvel Studios. And then We can finally see all of the Movie and TV heroes crossover in the next big event movie like Secret Wars or Contest of Champions.
