Mr. Negative Isn’t The Main Antagonist In ‘Spider-Man’ PS4 Game

Spider-Man Mr. NegativeRecently at E3, we finally got an extended look at the upcoming Spider-Man game from Playstation which is slated to come out in 2018. In the new trailer, we discovered that the villainous Martin Li a.k.a. Mr. Negative will be appearing in the new Spider-Man game, making this the first time he has been used outside the comics.

However, a question that came up from this trailer is whether or not Mr. Negative is actually the big bad of the game. Creative director Bryan Intihar revealed to Destructroid that Mr. Negative is only “a villain in the game”, describing the character having a “elevated spot” among the Spidey villains. Intihar teased that they “have a very large cast, and there’s many more surprises” to come, so it might be a while till we learn who the big bad is.

“Starring one of the world’s most iconic Super Heroes, Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. From traversing with parkour and unique environmental interactions, to new combat and cinematic blockbuster set pieces, it’s Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before.”

Spider-Man PS4 is set to come out sometime in 2018.
