Universal Pictures and ESPN have teamed up with a new TV spot to promote the release of the upcoming reboot of The Mummy along with the NBA playoffs.
The new reboot directed by Alex Kurtzman is set to kickstart and lay the groundwork for a shared cinematic universe full of monsters featured in standalone films that possess similar things between them.
In addition to the new TV spot from Universal and ESPN, the studio has also released a new promo on social media revealing new footage of Tom Cruise’s Nick Morton discovering the tomb of Ahmanet. You can check out both the TV spot as well as the new promo below.

Thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.
The Mummy hits theaters June 9, 2017.
