‘Power Rangers’: Two New Clips & New Images Released

Power Rangers
Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon) and Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa) were both interviewed on The Today Show recently and they each brought brand new clips from the upcoming film with them.

During Cranston’s interview, The Today show premiered a clip featuring the Rangers as they meet Zordon for the very first time upon entering the command center. Cranston also talked about providing the voice for some of the monsters in original Fox Kids series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and even put on the voice a few times.

A new clip featuring the scene glimpsed in the trailers of Rita attacking Trini (Becky G) in her bedroom was also revealed. The clip gives us a look at how Repulsa’s Green suit transforms in what looks to be an unnatural way. It’s possible the evil galactic invader hell bent on world domination is corrupting the Dragon coin with her evil in the new film.

In addition, two new TV spots, a new batch of images and even some promo art has been released. You can check it all out below.

The film stars Dacre Montgomery as Jason Lee Scott (Red Ranger), RJ Cyler as Billy Cranston (Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott as Kimberly Hart (Pink Ranger), Becky G as Trini Kwan (Yellow Ranger), Ludi Lin as Zack Taylor (Black Ranger), Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, Bill Hader as Alpha 5, and Bryan Cranston as Zordon. Here’s the official synopsis:

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Power Rangers hits theaters on March 24, 2017.
