'Power Rangers': New Rita Repulsa Clip & Cast Interviews Released

We are under a month away from seeing the “teenagers with attitude” grace the silver screen once more. It has been a long time since we last saw these heroes on the big screen. The last Power Rangers film hit theatres in 1997, and was based around the Turbo iteration of the series. Lionsgate’s upcoming reboot is set to hit cinemas everywhere on March 24th, and in anticipation, we have a brand new clip and cast interviews. The clip – while short – focuses on Elizabeth Banks’ villainous Rita Repulsa, as she chows down a bagel from Krispy Kreme… I’m not making this up, by the way. In addition to this, Social News has released an extended interview with the cast of the upcoming blockbuster.

You can check the clip out below:

Plus, here are the cast interviews:

So, what do you guys think of this? Are you excited for the upcoming Power Rangers film? With an awesome cast including Oscar nominee Bryan Cranston, Bill Hader and Elizabeth Banks, who wouldn’t be? As previously stated, Power Rangers hits theatres everywhere on March 24th, 2017.

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
