Production On ‘Deadpool’ Sequel Delayed By One Week

Production on 20th Century Fox's Deadpool 2, the upcoming sequel to the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time has been back slightly.

DeadpoolA new report from OmegaUndergeround reveals that production on Deadpool 2, the sequel to the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time has been pushed back, but only by a week.

Filming was originally set to commence on June 19th in Vancouver but will now instead kick off on the 26th instead. Principal photography is expected to wrap up on October 26th.

In Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds returns for the sequel as the merc with the mouth along with Atlanta star Zazie Beetz as Domino as well as Josh Brolin as the time-traveling mutant Cable. In addition, much of the cast from the first film is expected to return including Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapcic as the voice of Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa and T.J. Miller as Weasel. Leslie Uggams has also confirmed that she will be returning as Deadpool’s roommate Blind Al in the follow-up.

Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returned to script the sequel with John Wick co-director David Leitch at the helm.
