Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 is almost over, with only a few episodes remaining as the show is getting ready to kick off its third big storyline for the year, known as Agents of Hydra. As the show finally returns tonight, it’s now up to Daisy Johnson and Jemma Simmons who must save their friends from the Framework.

Last week Heroic Hollywood participated in the press room for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at WonderCon to chat with the cast and producers about what is coming up in the remaining episodes of Season 4. We had the pleasure of chatting with Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge who play Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons respectively on the series.

When asked about how crazy it will get for Fitz and Simmons while inside the Framework, Henstridge spoke about that it essentially gets nutty very quickly all the way into the season finale, with Caestecker adding that “there are lots of twist and surprises”.

“It gets really crazy! Things just move really quickly from now on once we get [into it]. The stakes are so high, we want to get people out [as they] trying to convince them that none of this is real when it feels very realistic. It gets very exciting from here on now.”

More highlights from the full roundtable interview:

-Caestecker and Henstridge on getting to play different versions of their characters.

-How they prepare themselves before starting filming a new episode.

-What aspects of their characters that they like the most after four seasons.

-Whether or not we will see changes in their characters when/if they get out of the Framework.

10 Lingering Questions Leading Up To ‘The Defenders’

Netflix Marvel Defenders
With the release of the first season of Iron Fist, all four Defenders have made their streaming debut to set up this summer’s mashup miniseries The Defenders. Each season has built on the last, building an intricate mythology with a living, breathing New York City to house it. The Hand has been introduced as a sort of evil S.H.I.E.L.D. to link Marvel’s Netflix dramas, building to the four uniting against them. Their separate investigations will bring them together in – what else – a hallway fight.

The culmination of the first phase of the Marvel/Netflix partnership has a lot of ‘splaining to do. What’s the Hand’s true objective? How will our four heroes interact together and how will the supporting casts of their shows intersect here? And perhaps most importantly, who is the Big Bad played by Sigourney Weaver?

We’ll talk about all that and more in the article ahead. Click Next to start!
