This year’s annual Star Trek convention in Las Vegas will boldly go where no convention has gone before: Zero G.
On August 4 this year, Trekkies will be able take a Zero G flight with none other than William Shatner. Roddenberry Adventures is teaming up with the Zero Gravity Corporation and offering the Zero Gravity flight with Shatner on board.
With only a limited number of seats and a steep price tag, Star Trek fans will have to pull out all stops to make this flight. You can read the official statement about the event below.
As thousands of Star Trek fans descend upon Las Vegas for the annual convention, Shatner and his crew for the day will embark on their own mission. Talented pilots at the helm of G-FORCE ONE®, ZERO-G’s specially modified Boeing 727, will perform a series of parabolic arcs to create the exhilarating feeling of floating through space. At the top of each arc, Flyers will soar through the plane in a floating playground, perform effortless tricks and flips and share a world known only by a small fraction of the population. Once back on terra firma, participants will have a chance to mingle with the Shatner during a meet and great session.
Tickets for the flight are $9,950 per seat plus a 5% tax and will include a ZERO-G flight suit, Regravitation Celebration, certificate of weightless completion and photos and video of the unique experience shared with the star. To purchase a spot, visit www.gozerog.com.

The 16th annual Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas runs from August 2-6. Registration is currently open for the special Zero G flight.

Top 10 Movie Trailers From This Summer That Will Fire You Up
Every year, an avalanche of trailers, teasers, TV spots flood the Internet, trying to grab the attention of busy and overstimulated audiences. It’s gotten to the point where now, trailers are such a commodity, that the trailers themselves have teasers. There’s a reason: trailers, when they’re good, can be an artform all their own.
I love trailers, being the guy who is always rushing his friends and family to the theater early “so we don’t miss the previews.” Every summer, I make a YouTube playlist of my favorites that acts as my own personal radio station because frankly, sometimes, I vibe more to how the trailer is cut than the music in it or, in bad cases, the movies themselves when I finally catch them on-screen. It’s gotten to the point that I imagine and dream in a trailer format, with music setting the pace for a smash-cut of scenes that I want to write or just enjoy the fantasy of.
If you love a good trailer like I love a good trailer, this list is for you. Here’s what I consider the top 10 trailers for the summer 2017. Click Next to start!
