EA Announces ‘Star Wars Battlefront II’ Gameplay Reveal

EA has announced the first look at gameplay from the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II will be revealed in just a few short weeks.

The American video game publisher has once again chosen to sit out of E3 this year and will host its own dedicated event instead. EA Play 2017 will be held from June 10-12 at the Palladium in Hollywood, California.

Star Wars Battlefront II follows Iden Versio (Janina Gavankar), the commander of a group of Imperial special forces known as the Inferno Squad. The story begins with the Inferno Squad reeling in the aftermath of the Battle of Endor after Return of the Jedi and takes us all the way up to The First Order’s debut in The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Battlefront II won’t hit game store shelves until this fall, but you can already pre-order the game for new Kylo Ren and Rey costumes from Star Wars: The Last Jedi plus ability upgrades and more.

EA Access or Origin Access Members will also be able to the play the first trial of the game beginning. November 9. Those who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition will be able to play starting November 14. You can check out the full details on the games multiplayer experience here.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Origin for PC November 17, 2017.
