‘Supergirl’ Executive Producer Teases Mon-El Possibly Suiting Up

SupergirlWe have seen several new DC Comics characters added to Supergirl this season, including Chris Wood’s Mon-El who has been a big player in the second season. In the comics, Mon-El is a fellow superhero and while we have seen the TV version starting to take the journey towards becoming a hero, he has yet to suit up.

TV Line released their latest edition of Matt’s Inside Line where fans get to ask Matt Mitovich for scoops on various shows. A Supergirl fan asked whether we will see Wood’s character will be suiting up anytime soon. Andrew Kreisberg, show-runner and executive producer of the series, teased to Mitovich about that possibility.

“I can’t say right now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one day you got to see that.”

No. I don’t see how he can stick around after the Daxamite invasion anyway. He’s the reason Rhea brought them there.

    • Kelly Coats

Well, apparently he is sticking around since he is in Season 3.

      • Star-Lord

Yeah and he s go should he is such a great addition

        • Marysocontrary

He really hasn’t been a “great addition.”

          • Star-Lord

            Yeah he has

          • Marysocontrary

No, he really hasn’t. He started out okay, until they decided they had to rush and force a relationship between Kara and him, which lead to her story being pushed aside.

      • Marysocontrary

Really? Where has that been said?

  • Karaiswhoiam

No, the spoiled kid doesn’t deserve even more attention. He’s no hero, he only brings trouble to Earth, send him back to the Phantom Zone.

    • Star-Lord

Look at the salty SC shipper

  • Jule

The only thing I want to see of Mon-el is him being yeeted into the PZ, dead or far away in Daxam, I don’t care what happens to him, I just want him out of the show, I can’t stand him, he is not a hero, we have all seen that, his development is poor and boring. Just take him away.

  • Jon

I’d rather he goes back to Daxam and rebuild it to be a better place. After all, doesn’t “being a hero” mean “sacrificing your own happiness for the greater good”?

    • Star-Lord

Mon-El is not going anywhere. Newsflash moron. Chris is a SERIES REGULAR confirmed for s3 and he will become the superhero he is in comics on the show. You are pathetic with all your selfish hate just because you want to FORCE a straight Person into gay. Now Thats crazy
