New artwork inspired by Matt Reeves’ The Batman imagines Robert Pattinson with a blue cowl and the classic white eyes.

Last year, Warner Bros. revealed that Twilight alum Robert Pattinson has signed on to replace Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne in The Batman. In the years since ending his run on the Twilight series, Robert Pattinson has been taking on more challenging roles in smaller pictures, with the most recent example being the Robert Eggers-directed horror movie The Lighthouse. Now, Robert Pattinson seems poised to come back to the spotlight with roles in major films like Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and The Batman.

With Robert Pattinson’s The Batman currently filming in the United Kingdom, there has been a lot of speculation about the DC Comics movie. The speculation goes from the plot to what the titular character’s suit will look like. While images of Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit are currently impossible to come by, many have taken to the internet to imagine what he could look like in The Batman. Recently, digital artist Mizuri shared this awesome artwork of Robert Pattinson’s Batman with a classic blue cowl and white eyes. Full plot details on Robert Pattinson’s The Batman are being kept under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy from Warner Bros. with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman arrives in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for more news regarding The Batman star Robert Pattinson and the Dark Knight’s future on the big screen.
