Transformers: The Last Knight will be director Michael Bay’s final entry in the live-action film series and it appears the filmmaker intends on exiting the franchise with a bang. A new featurette for the upcoming film has been released, where Bay, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and members of the cast discuss the merits of the IMAX 3D experience.
The featurette offers audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how the production team used IMAX cameras to deliver a greater theatrical experience for fans.

“The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.”
Directed by Michael Bay, the film stars Mark Wahlberg, Isabela Moner, Stanley Tucci, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Santiago Cabrera, Jerrod Carmichael, Liam Garrigan, Peter Cullen and John Goodman
Transformers: The Last Knight will be released in theaters on June 23, 2017.
