‘Wolverine 3’ Director Promises Footage Soon

Wolverine 3 is just a little less than a year away from its March 2017 release date. The film has wrapped filming, and yet we still haven’t gotten any footage from Hugh Jackman’s final superhero adventure. You would think at this point, we would have some trailer or clip, but so far, all we really have is a poster. Luckily, director James Mangold is planning to remedy that very soon.

After a fan on Twitter asked him for an update on Wolverine 3, James Mangold replied, promising that we’ll all “hear and see things very soon”.

Very little is known about the third and final Wolverine film. So far, we know that it will in fact be rated R, and that the villainous mutant Mr. Sinister will be making an appearance, after his company was referenced at the end of X-Men: Apocalypse.

We also know that Patrick Stewart will be reprising his role as Charles Xavier in the film, perhaps for the last time. Wolverine’s female clone, X-23, may also be making an appearance. Aside from these facts and rumors, we really don’t know anything else about the movie.

With that in mind, some footage of the film would be much appreciated. Mangold doesn’t specify when “very soon” is, but we’ll likely get something by the end of the year. Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, another 20th Century Fox film, is coming out on September 30. Maybe we’ll get a trailer attached to it?

Wolverine 3 is set to release in theaters on March 3, 2017. It will be Hugh Jackman’s last time playing the character.
