Zack Snyder Described His Thoughts On ‘Wonder Woman’ In One Word

Wonder Woman
Zack Snyder, best known as the man who kickstarted the DCEU universe, has one word to describe Wonder Woman. The director of Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice posted the following word on social media app Vero:

“Proud”

The caption came along with a photo of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Zack Snyder has a lot invested in Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, especially because he aided in the creation of the film, and was given a story credit. In addition, he cast Gadot as the titular hero in Batman V Superman, where she first appeared in the role.

The film stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Sir Patrick Morgan, Elena Anaya as Doctor Maru, Ewen Bremner as Charlie, Saïd Taghmaoui as Sameer and Eugene Brave Rock as the Chief.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

6 Reasons Why ‘Justice League’ Could Be Better Than ‘Avengers’

Previous1 of 7

Justice League
The DC Cinematic Universe needs a win and Geoff Johns and Zack Snyder have their fingers crossed Wonder Woman and Justice League will give things a boost. Aquaman keeps adding members to the cast and is set to start shooting soon while Flash has already lost two directors, meaning there’s a lot riding on WB’s next two big DC movies to secure a future for their cinematic plans.

There’s a lot to look forward to in Justice League and quite a few reasons to believe it could match or surpass The Avengers. WB is introducing most of their supporting characters for the first time in Justice League opposed to how Marvel had already introduced every member of the team by the time they came together for The Avengers. That means we have a lot to watch for as we meet a lot of characters on the big-screen for the first time.

Hit Next to find out why Justice League might be better than The Avengers.
