It’s been 4 years since the last solo Wolverine film, and Fox and team are ready to go off with a bang by giving fans an R-rated rendition of Old Man Logan. Off the heels of Deadpool, Fox has quickly accepted that R-rated superhero films do work and audiences will flock to them. It may come off as a gimmick, but the R rating has given James Mangold and crew the chance to create a dark, hyper-violent, and sin-filled superhero film that tackles a mature story involving what it means to be a mutant in a post-mutant world. We had the chance to see Logan and we absolutely adored it due to its emotional weight and strong performances. Let’s be honest, you’ve probably already bought your tickets for Jackman’s last outing as Wolverine.
