Even though the cast and crew of Justice League had a wrap party in London a few weeks ago, shooting for the film continued in Iceland. During the Iceland shoot, we got our first glimpse at Mera, but according to Jason Momoa’s Instagram it appears shooting for the film has officially concluded.
The actor posted the following picture to his Instagram, in which he and Ben Affleck posed with some Guinness. Momoa’s caption read: “My man. The Batman love ya bud @BenAffleck we did it, that’s a wrap. Mahalo to @guiness and @highlandparkofficial for taking care of Aquaman and the JL crew.”
Momoa also followed up with a post of him with director Zack Snyder and production manager Jim Rowe.
Should this be the true end for the Justice League shoot, they have about a year in the editing room ahead of them.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
