In reality its probably a miracle that we are seeing Daisy Johnson at all.
Since it’s 2013 debut, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has had something of a rocky production history. The show has had to fight inconsistent ratings, cancellation attempts and constantly shifting studio mandates from the bosses at Marvel at Disney. During the show’s previous season its continuation was so uncertain that the season finale was apparently written as a season finale should the show get the axe. Luckily for all of us that was not the case but with a rather heavy stipulation.
The sixth season was renewed earlier this year but only with a 13 episode run rather then the usual 22. Such a season reduction has, in the past, spelled the end for television series that wanted to end things on a tighter leash. Given the end of the previous season, however, this may not be out of the question.
The season ended with the deaths of a few major characters and several others retiring. The remaining members of the team left in search off a parallel version of a lost member, leaving their fates open but still rather conclusive. Perhaps this final season will give a definitive ending to their story.
What do you all think of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Should things have ended after Season 5 or did it require more closure? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
10 Things We’d Love To See In The ‘Black Widow’ Movie

Scarlett Johannsson has been portraying the famous character for nearly eight years now, since first being introduced in 2010’s Iron Man 2. With a lot of backstory hinted at in her other Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances, it is unclear whether the Black Widow movie will be an origin story or whether it will follow the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
