The latest episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. concluded with the May LMD setting off a series of explosions that destroyed the S.H.I.E.L.D base of operations and thwarted AIDA’s plot. However, for many fans, one lingering question remained: What happened to army of Daisy LMD’s that had been stored in S.H.I.E.L.D’s headquarters? In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jed Whedon addressed the fate of S.H.I.E.L.D’s base and the potential return of the Daisy Life Model Decoys.
Whedon confirmed that fans will be given a clear idea of the extent of the damage to S.H.I.E.L.D’s headquarters.
“When we come back, we’ll see how big of an explosion it really was.”
Whedon would not confirm if the Daisy LMD’s had been destroyed, but noted that the idea behind the explosion was to put an end to Aida’s plan.
“The idea was May sacrifices herself to try to put an end to what they’re doing.”
Do you think the Daisy LMD’s could return? They would certainly pose a considerable threat, especially with our heroes indisposed as they explore an alternate reality within the Framework.
