‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Producers On Fitz’s Potential Redemption

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Fitz FatherIn this week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we saw Leo Fitz, inside the Framework, go through one of his darkest moments in the whole show. Despite Radcliffe’s attempts to get through to Fitz, he went through with killing Radcliffe’s wife Agnes and as you know, when you die in the Framework, you die in the real world too.

In Entertainment Weekly’s latest edition of Spoiler Room with Natalie Abrams, a fan asked whether or not Fitz can be redeemed after this week’s episode. Abrams revealed the following quote from show-runners Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen who talked about how this Fitz is capable of a lot things.

“The doctor doesn’t see his actions as being out of line. This version of Fitz is clearly capable of horrendous acts, but it is unclear whether not he’s capable of remorse.”
