Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Third Arc LMDThe storytelling of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been done a little bit differently this season as the show have been splitting the season up into separate arcs. The first one between episodes 1-8 was dubbed “Ghost Rider” with the introduction Gabriel Luna’s Robbie Reyes who is currently missing in action since the winter finale.

Tomorrow night, the second arc “LMD” will kick off with the rise of AIDA and the Life Model Decoys. However, it appears that a third one is being planned. During the ongoing Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, Jed Whedon, one of the show-runners and executive producers, revealed that there will be a third arc towards the end of Season 4.

“This year there’s three [story arcs]. It’s based on our schedule of how we’re airing. We like to run continuous, if that [is] possible, so this next [LMD] chunk will be a section and then we’ll be off for a while and there’ll be a third part.”
