‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Poster Teases Coulson’s New Role

Agents

A new poster for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. shows Agent Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) new position in the coming Agents of HYDRA arc. Released on the show’s Twitter page, the image features Mr. Coulson in his new life inside of the Framework, as a college professor who is vocally anti-Inhuman.

Check out the poster in the Tweet below:

Personally, I’m a big fan of how the show has handled this season, by breaking it up into smaller arcs. So far this year we’ve seen Ghost Rider, L.M.D.s and now the Agents of HYDRA arc. This approach keeps the show, which is now in its fourth season, from getting stale, so I’m hoping this trend continues in Season 5.

Iron Fist
This weekend the fourth collaboration of Marvel and Netflix, Iron Fist, dropped on the streaming service. Although the first 6 episodes were panned by critics, fans spent much of the weekend binge-watching the new Marvel show. Based on social media reactions, Iron Fist was still received rather well and it looks like Marvel and Netflix once again have a hit on their hands. We here at Heroic Hollywood have been binge-watching it as well. You can see our reviews in episodic spurts here, here and here, with more to come.

Being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as the street level Defenders Universe, there’s a lot of connective tissue in Iron Fist. We already know that Madame Gao, Jerri Hogarth and Claire Temple –who appeared in other properties — would be on the show. However, there is a plethora of other cool stuff that shows up on Iron Fist. Here are a few easter eggs connecting the show to the MCU, plus a few other things. Click Next to take a look.
