‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Episode 4.17 Ratings Hold Steady

Last week Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned from their hiatus to a ratings bump with an episode that kicked-off the harrowing Agents of Hydra arc. It appears the episode was enticing enough to encourage viewers to stay tuned as TVByTheNumbers reports that ratings for last night’s episode managed to hold steady with the previous week’s numbers.

TVByTheNumbers reports that the episode earned a total of 2.34 million viewers, up from the previous episode’s 2.20 total, and held steady with last week’s 0.7 demo rating.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues next week with the episode titled “No Regrets”.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe.

Guest starring are Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Jason O’Mara as Jeffrey Mace, Jordan Rivera as Hope Mackenzie, Patrick Cavanaugh as Burrows, David O’Hara as Alistair, Adam Kulbersh as Kenneth, Taj Speights as Burnell, Skyler James as Chris Adler, Beau Bonness as Hydra gate guard and Christopher Showerman as Hydra soldier.

Iron Fist
This weekend the fourth collaboration of Marvel and Netflix, Iron Fist, dropped on the streaming service. Although the first 6 episodes were panned by critics, fans spent much of the weekend binge-watching the new Marvel show. Based on social media reactions, Iron Fist was still received rather well and it looks like Marvel and Netflix once again have a hit on their hands. Being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as the street level Defenders Universe, there’s a lot of connective tissue in Iron Fist.
