New Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Poster Teases Adventures In Space

A new poster for the fifth season of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' teases an extended stay in outer space for Phil Coulson and friends.

The fourth season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. concluded with Phil Coulson and friends being abducted by an unknown organization with Coulson later waking up to find himself on a vessel traveling through space. Now, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled a new poster for the upcoming fifth season of the show that teases an extended stay in space for the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.

The poster features the S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol inscribed on the walls of what appears to be a spaceship with a starry exterior visible outside of the window. While the identity of the organization responsible for capturing Coulson and his team is currently unknown, fans have theorized that the group behind their abduction is S.W.O.R.D., an intelligence agency featured in Marvel comics that is dedicated to defending the world from extraterrestrial threats.
