Alan Tudyk Talks ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’

Alan Tudyk is currently promoting his web series Con Man, but took a moment in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about the Gareth Edwards directed Star Wars spinoff film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  His role has been kept under wraps, but he did offer an interesting glimpse into the environment of the set.

You are amazed at what you can look at, because it is a physical world, if there are creatures, then there are creatures; if there are spaceships, then there are spaceships. It’s not huge swaths of green hung from the rafters. You have it all there, and if you don’t have it there then you go fly some place that does.

As a Star Wars fan it is exciting that like Star Wars The Force Awakens they seem to be taking a very practical route with the sets and props, which I feel will add a lot to the look of these new films. This makes myself and many other Star Wars fans anticipating these upcoming films even more.

What do you think of Alan’s comments on the set? Sound off in the comments!
